No-Bake Energy Bites

These No-Bake Energy Bites are a wholesome, grab-and-go snack packed with oats, peanut butter, honey, and nutritious mix-ins. They require no baking, come together in minutes, and are perfect for meal prep. Enjoy them as a healthy breakfast, afternoon snack, or post-workout treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • cup honey
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Add the oats to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in the ground flaxseed.
  3. Add the chia seeds.
  4. Mix in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Add the peanut butter.
  6. Pour in the honey.
  7. Add the vanilla extract.
  8. Sprinkle in the salt.
  9. Stir everything until well combined.
  10. Refrigerate the mixture for 20–30 minutes if it feels sticky.
  11. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture.
  12. Roll into bite-sized balls.
  13. Place the energy bites on a parchment-lined tray.
  14. Chill for another 15 minutes before serving.
  15. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use natural peanut butter for a healthier version.
  • Almond butter or sunflower seed butter work as great substitutes.
  • Add shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture.
  • Dried cranberries or raisins make delicious mix-ins.
  • Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months and thaw before eating.
